Iran blames death of Kurdish prisoners on the Swine flue
During the last couple of days two Kurdish prisoners have died and a third prisoner is expected to die in a prison in Sine (Sanandaj). The prison warden in Sine has confirmed that two Kurdish political prisoners have died and that at least one more is very sick.
But the warden claims that the Kurdish political prisoners died after that they were infected with the Swine Flue and unintentionally were treated with medicine that had expired.
Different Kurdish human rights organization believes that the prison warden is lying about the reason behind the deaths of the Kurdish prisoners, Kurdish human rights organizations believe that the Kurdish political prisoners died after that they were tortured. How is it that all of the prisoners that have been infected are Kurdish political prisoners? And why did they get expired medicine?
During the last couple of months rumors have circulated that Iran has decided to kill several Kurdish political prisoners, it all started with letters being exchanged between the regimes officials in Kurdistan and Tehran, in which plans were made to execute several Kurdish prisoners.
But after that the regime executed 27-year-old Ehsan Fatahian the regime became worried that the public reaction in Kurdistan would jeopardize the security in Kurdistan. Hence, different Kurdish organizations believe that the regime is using other methods to kill Kurdish activists that they deem problematic.
