Kurdish students in Tehran demand federalism


A group of students staged a protest against the execution of Ehsan Fatahian yesterday at the University of Tehran. The students condemned the Execution of Fatahain and warned that if any of the other 13 Kurdish prisoners would be executed the Kurdish people would turn “Kurdistan into a graveyard for its enemies.”

Furthermore the students sang the Kurdish national anthem “Ey Reqib” and a song about Kurdish martyrs. The students also demanded the Iran becomes a federal state in which Kurdistan is self-governed.

The students also shouted the following slogans:

“Kurdistan will become a graveyard for Fascists”

“Coup d’état government, this is the last message, Kurdistan is ready for resistance”

“No to prisons, Federalism is what we want for Iran”

“Terror, execution, torture, is this Islamic Justice”

“Krmanshan is our city, we will not give it to anyone”

“As long as one Kurd is alive, Kurdistan will exist”

“Long live Kurdistan, death to the terrorists”

“Give us Freedom or death”

“Free all political prisoners”
