Security services at the University in Urmye blacklists 91 Kurdish students
According to information from Kurdish students at the University in Urmye the university’s security service have blacklisted 91 students from getting any housing, borrowing books from the university library and eating in at the university’s dining room and from attending classes.
The reason for this is that the Kurdish students are perceived as a “bad” influence on other students and that they pose a security risk for the university. All of this because the students have taken part in “secret” meetings and participated in demonstrations after the June 12th presidential (s)election.
