A revolutionary court in the Kurdish city of Mehabad sentenced two Kurdish men, Shoresh MamRehmanpor and Ali Ahmedi, to five years in prison. Both of the men were charged with illegal political activism and spreading propaganda against the Iranian regime.

A religious scholar by the name of Mullah Loghman Mohammedian, from the Kurdish city of Diwandere, was summoned to a meeting two days ago with government officials of the Islamic Republic.
