Seven Kurds arrested in a village close to Shno
The Revolutionary Guard arrested seven Kurd’s and questioned another six in the village of Gerkashan, which is located close to the city of Shno, after that a clash erupted between the local population and the Revolutionary Guard’s.
People of the village have complained for years that their land is being used as a dumping place for garbage and this has created anger at the officials of the Islamic Republic that is responsible for deciding were the garbage should be dumped.
During the last couple of years the people of the local population of Gerkashan have clashed Revolutionary Guards after that they have refused to let garbage trucks to enter the dumping place.
A judge in the city of Shno has decided that the seven arrested Kurds will be released if they pay a fine of 20 million Iranian Toman’s.
